Kensington Park Logo

This design was more challenging because Kensington Park does not have an individual logo. Each park in the Huron-Clinton Metro Parks system has the same branding. While the branding unifies the parks across the area, I wanted to create a second logo specific to the common activities and community of Kensington State Park.

Each year, hundreds of ducks are born at Kensington and many visitors picnic at the park just to see these ducklings. I set out to create a logo that draws on those memories while appealing to visitors of every age. The simplicity of the design makes a great shirt for adults, while the vibrant colors and duck imagery remind children of their excitement for visiting Kensington.
